Dean, David Eccles School of Business, and University of Utah Vice President for Technology Venture Development, a portfolio that includes all industry-sponsored research, commercialization activities, and the University's equity ownership in spinoff companies. Serves on the Utah Economic Development Board, on the boards of the Pierre Lassonde Entrepreneur Center, University Venture Fund, Capital Source Bank, Education CRA Fund, University of Utah Research Foundation, and Junior Achievement, and is a partner in Finch Capital. PhD in Business from the University of California at Berkeley, recognized internationally for research on strategic change in dynamic business environments, and has more than 30 years experience working in higher education.
